Qualified Medical Evaluator

Dr. Raj Desai is a qualified medical evaluator (QME) certified by the state of California to conduct impartial medical evaluations for workers’ compensation cases. In California, QME are used to help determine the extent of an employee’s work-related injuries and the medical treatment needed to recover from those injuries. They may also be asked to evaluate an employee’s ability to return to work and any permanent disability resulting from the injury.
